Fave Spring Polishes
Hey guys! Sorry this is up late, but I have my favorite spring nail polishes today! I hope you enjoy xx.
1. Sally Hasen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish in The Sky's the Limit:
This is just a really pretty sky blue color, as the name implies, and I think it is perfect for spring. The formula is great, and it barely chips! I had it on for a week with pretty much no chipping. Also, it has a really cool rounded brush which makes it super easy to apply.
2. ELF Polish in Flirty Fuchsia:
This is a really bright pink, almost coral, color. It's a fabulous color, but I don't really love the formula of it. This is what I have on my nails right now, and I have had it for almost a week with no chips, but the polish is kinda thin. I still love it though:)
3. Sephora Polish in Psychedelic:
This a lavender purple color. I actually haven't worn this one yet so I don't know about the formula, but the color is absolutely perfect for spring. PLUS, it has the round brush that I loooove!
4. H&M Polish in Blue My Mind:
This is a really pretty royal blue color which I think is a great color all year around, but I love it especially for spring! I love the formula for this polish, and it was very affordable.
and lastly...
5. Deborah Lippmann Polish in White:
This is a very sheer white color, very plain and simple. As I said it is kind of sheer which I don't love, but you can build it up to make it more white. I think white is just a staple color to have for spring, and I love it!
Those were my fave spring polishes, I hope you enjoyed !
xoxo,
Gem

March must-haves
Hey guys! So I have a few must have items for march/spring for you! I hope you enjoy, and keep leaving requests down below!
1. A Nice Pink Blush:
I use the one from the naked flushed palette. It is hot(ish) pink and it has some shimmer to it. I think it is the perfect spring color!
2. A good lip balm:
Now even though it isn't winter anymore a lip balm is still a must for me! My lips get pretty chapped even in the hotter months. It's never cute to have dry lips, so I use a very strong lip balm it is the Air Repair Rescue Balm. You can use it on your lips, elbows, knees, basically any dry area.
3. A good concealer:
I switch up my concealer a lot, but the one I am loving now is the Revlon ColorStay Concealer (I'm in medium). It doesn't cake and is very light which is great for spring.
4. And lastly for makeup, a good eyeshadow palette:
THE NAKED 2 PALETTE! :P It has amazing eyeshadow options following the trends of 2014 spring (white eyeshadow, etc.)
5. A nice body spray/perfume:
I have two recommendations for this category
1. the Victoria Secret Pink body splash in Wild and Breezy
it is very girly and perfumey and reminds me a lot of spring and flowers and stuff like that!
2. Marc Jacobs HONEY perfume
for a more high end option, this perfume smells very similar to the VSP one (plus it has cute packaging :P)
6. CANDLES! BATH AND BODY WORKS! ENOUGH SAID! :))))
7. And lastly, a good skincare routine:
I use the Vasanti BrightenUp! cleanser, the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Triple-Action Toner, and the Clean&Clear Dual Action Moisturizer. These all help me keep my skin clear, and prevent oil, acne, and clogged pores.
That's All! Love you guys <3

SPRING STYLE
Here is one example of a spring trend that I love! More to come. xoxo-gem
One fashion trend this spring is circular sunglasses! These are two pairs I am in love with from Forever 21! I just think they are so so cute, and for the price ($5.80 each) they are a total steal!

I Love Drugstore Makeup Tag
Hey lovelies <3
Today I have the I <3 drugstore makeup tag!
A someone requested this so here it is <3 -Gem
1. What is your favorite drugstore makeup brand overall?
Overall would probably have to be Maybelline! I like the most products from them!
I love their lippies, face products, blushes, and eye products! A+ for Maybelline!!
2. What are your favorite face, cheek and lip products?
My favorite face product would have to be the maybelline dream fresh bb cream. I think it gives me a great light coverage because I don't really have a lot of acne. When I am breaking out a bit more I use a heavier foundation, but for everyday wear I love their bb cream (I'm in the shade light/medium fyi)
My favorite cheek product would probably be the NYC smooth skin bronzer! I love it, and I use it everyday!! It is super super cheap (like 3 or 4 dollars :O), and it is a great matte bronzer! (This will be coming up in a later question as well)
And finally for lip product I have to go with the maybelline baby lips. They are amazing products. They are super moisturizing and they provide you with a hint of color (except for the clear ones). I cannot find enough good things to say about them!
3. Least favorite product?
So I have this neutrogena concealer stick, and I just don't like how cakey it gets throughout the day! I dries out my skin, and that is the main problem I have with them.
4. What is the best makeup bargain?
I think that the Rocket Volum Express mascara from maybelline is the best makeup bargain. It isn't as cheap as the bronzer (it's like 6 dollars), but I think it is the best bargain because of how great it is. I like it better than most of my high end mascara. Benefit's bad gal lash is like 20 something dollars, and I like the rocket mascara way better!
5. What is your favorite underdog product? (Something you love that often gets overlooked?)
Alright, so this is kinda a weird product to be writing about but I love it so yeah:)
I have this E.L.F eyelid primer and I love it, but I have never heard anyone talk about it. It isn't the mineral one, it's just the normal one. It is literally one dollar and it is amazing! It makes my eyeshadow stick, and makes it super vibrant!
6. A drugstore product that is overpriced?
A lot of the revlon products at the drugstore right now are overpriced. Like the new revlon highlighter is 15 dollars! That is how much a lipstick from mac costs! I just think it is way to expensive for the drugstore!
7. Show your best drugstore dupe(s)!!
I think my NYC bronzer is a great dupe for hoola bronzer by benefit!
They are both amazing matte bronzers! I recommend both!
8. Drugstore product that isn't worth the hype?
The Revlon Lip Butters. Honestly I wasn't that impressed with them. They didn't really moisturize my lips, and they are pretty expensive for the very little amount of product you get. I didn't love them as much as everyone else.
